After spending an amazing honeymoon last year in Thailand and Cambodia, I have decided that Southeast Asia is a place I must go back and get to know in more detail. Three countries that I am particularly interested in are Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar.
Day 1
Arrive in Yangon, Myanmar and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the afternoon free.

A full day of sightseeing includes: the Reclining Buddha; the Sule Pagoda, Botataung Pagoda, located on the Yangon River and the National Museum. End the day with the breathtaking view of the Shwedagon Pagoda.

Take a flight from Yangon to Bagan and check-in to Aureum Palace Hotel and Resort in the middle of the temples. Enjoy a lunch overlooking the Bagan planes from your hotel. Spend the evening on a relaxing river cruise along the Irrawaddy River

Day 4
Start your day with an early morning balloon ride over Bagan, watching the sun illuminate the more than 2,000 pagodas, templaes and stupas which cover the plains.
Spend a full day exploring these incomparable treasures, returning for lunch at the hotel between guided trips. Highlights include a visit the 11th-century Ananda Temple, the best-preserved temple in Bagan, with four massive golden statues of Buddha and delicate murals depicting Burmese life from the 11th through the 13th centuries.

Day 5

Fly to charming Luang Prabang. Climb Phoussy Hill to visit Phoussy Temple and to enjoy a panoramic vista of this UNESCO World Heritage city.

Day 6
Take part in a food offering to the local Buddhist monks. Sightseeing today includes stops at the Pak Ou caves Thamting and Thamphoum, as well as Wat Longkhoun and the village of Ban Xanghai.

This morning, explore the Royal Palace Museum, local market and Kuang Si Waterfall. Followed by an afternoon at leisure.

Day 8
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. Visit the Thien Hau Pagoda in the colorful Chinatown of Cholon.

Day 9
Explore the Cu Chi tunnel network, one of the most notorious battlefields of the Vietnam War.

Day 10
Arrive in Danang and transfer to the Nam Hai on pristine China Beach. Your afternoon includes a sunset boat trip in the small traditional town of Hoi An.

The day is yours to enjoy the amenities of your luxurious villa.

Day 12
This afternoon, fly to charming Hanoi. Tonight, enjoy a traditional water puppet show.

Day 13
Visit Ho Chi Minh's house, One Pillared Pagoda, Quanh Tanh Temple and the Fine Arts Museum. Later, travel by cyclo through the Old Quarter. On the next day, journey overland to Halong Bay for a cruise among its scenic grottoes and islands.
